A new paradigm is evolving. It would be wise for the agitators to renew their history lessons about the “Line of Death” in the Gulf of Sidra. This new paradigm may finally force liberals to vacate their pet weapon (multiculturalism) against America’s Judeo-Christian heritage after all.

A few things of note:
Listen up: The Best of Me Symphony #118 is on, over at The Owner’s Manual. Great stuff, oldies but goodies. I’ve even got a favorite post of mine in there.
Earlier today I posted on this, but Brit Hume’s Political Grapevine adds new details I hadn’t […]

Here is a gut wrenching story of “Abra Ka Dabra” Zarqawi’s depredations upon the Iraqi people of a city in Anbar province, followed by the heart warming tale of rescue by the forces of Freedom. The source is Cal Thomas’ recent column, “America Lionized.”

It is so offensive to see our tax dollars paying for immigrants to receive special dispensations because they can’t (or won’t) learn our language!

From the Diversity Run Amok Deptartment, we have this, from Daniel Henninger: “The Taliban’s former spokesman is now a Yale student. Anyone see a problem with that?” Um, yup.

It is an issue of life or death — not only for the human lives destroyed through ES cell research but also for patients lulled into the specious arguments of ES cell proponents, only to find disappointment.

Sometimes we humans love to ascribe motives to our undertakings that are far less magnanimous then we pretend - not always, but sometimes. Following are several examples of such noble causes.

From The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades) by Robert Spencer:
With this victory [by Muhammad’s forces in the Battle of Badr, 624 AD], certain attitudes and assumptions were being planted in the minds of Muslims, …

This concerns me, since I take Amtrak up and down the Northeast corridor about every other week. While I don’t have any explosive vests (damn, no discount) will I need to invest in an Agal in order to get into Business Class?

There is a real illness in this world – one that the pop psychologists haven’t created an illness syndrome for it yet – perhaps out of fear for their safety. It is warped animal love, and it is anything but good!

I daresay I’m rarely tagged, and these days, being tagged for me is something akin to seeing that straw that broke the camel’s back and bashing it with a sledgehammer, just to see how far the two halves of the straw (and the camel, for that matter) will shoot apart before they come to rest in the burning desert sand.

Oh no: hydrothermal megaplumes! We are on the verge of other major discoveries of large, hitherto unknown sources of thermal energy, which serve to heat the planet.

Castorocauda lutrasimilis is a very cool critter who lived 164 million years ago. God’s spectacular evolving creation seems, once again, limitless. The notion that specialization in mammals occurred so long ago is fascinating, and may be just the first of many similar finds.

Peggy Noonan is pissed about airport security. Why are we worrying about seaports, she wonders, when we can’t even treat airport security as more than politically correct kabuki theater for politicians? Me, I’ve been lucky.

So, what to think about the whole Dubai/UAE thing?
Rick Moran is flamin’ (at the idiocy of the Bush administration… and the backlash against the backlash)…
Don Surber says he’s chillin’…
Dafydd is compromisin’…
Smoke Eater is callin’ to arms…
basil is ponderin’ about the nasty smell of bigotry in all of this…
…and I still haven’t decided […]

Golly, what to do if you’re an eco-theist and you find out that the trees you’ve been hugging are a major source of environmental pollution and can cause salinity as well as a loss of half of our precious streamflow?

“American hegemony” is not “the cause” of hatred toward the West. Rather, it is the intolerance and lack of self control on the part of the haters of The Great Satan — which just happens to be the most tolerant nation on earth, especially of immigrants.
