It’s been said many times before, but Washington Times columnist Frank Gaffney Jr. says it quite well in his recent column “States of Denial.”

A society that believes man is incapable of evil is in its death throes. A society that fails to recognize evil is already dead. A country that does battle for neither good nor evil is doomed to lose that battle.

I will never forget that day and what this Global War on Terrorism is all about: Islamofascists who hate our freedoms so much, and so wish to impose their New Caliphate upon the world, that they target people just like you and me, my family and yours.

In a day and age when weapons of mass destruction are actively being sought after by large numbers of people who have announced their intent to get rid of us, we are fools to not be aggressively preparing to meet the threat.

Liberals, acting like mad men on a senseless rampage have gone past the point of no return. They are now openly charging Bush (and Blair) with staging a faux plot to blow up thousands of America-bound passengers.

As we enter this next election cycle, it would be well to remember this when we have to chose between the “cut and run” John Murtha party, or the party that is willing to destroy those first that seek to destroy us.

Al Qaeda’s Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is dead – the victim of a US military action near Baghdad. The reporting and reaction of this news is yet to hit full stride in America – in short, how it will be spun is only to be conjectured.

…and neither are Victor Davis Hanson and Mark Steyn, who are (usually) highly respected as being on the cutting edge of conservative thought. It is at least some comfort that I find myself on the side of these esteemed folk when they write on the Dubai Ports World deal.

The irrational fear from the left overtook the better part of a party that is supposed to be the party of right-thinking folk. Pathetic political posturing born of ignorance snowballed, simply because of a ridiculous game of political one-upmanship.

The similarities between the liberal quest to dispose of President Bush at all costs, and Captain Ahab’s hate-filled quest for vengeance against Moby Dick, are astounding. Vengeance, in the form of insane hatred, my dear liberals, is but suicide.

The more I hear about the sacred recitations of Allah through Muhammad, the more “peace” and “tolerance” seem to be the exception, not the rule.

The left is steeped in the ideology of irrational expediency. For Democats, there hasn’t been a real “enemy” for years, even since 9/11. Then all of a sudden: The enemy is the UAE? How credible is that?

You can’t get much clearer about ill intentions than the anti-Western activities and statements emanating from radical Iran and its more silent but devious ally, Syria, and yet we see this very mentality at work every day with our leftist friends.

A new paradigm is evolving. It would be wise for the agitators to renew their history lessons about the “Line of Death” in the Gulf of Sidra. This new paradigm may finally force liberals to vacate their pet weapon (multiculturalism) against America’s Judeo-Christian heritage after all.
