On Commenting
We appreciate a good conversation and love a great, well-reasoned argument. If we deserve a good fisking, well then, have at it. We are fond of compliments and like to compliment other bloggers for a job well done. We also can certainly take reasonable criticisms.
Be it known: "The Golden Rule" applies at TMH's Bacon Bits.
Be so kind as to note that we would appreciate the following:
1) no foul language
2) no senseless trolls
3) no super-long comments - comments over 500 words (per MS Word) may be deleted, snipped, and/or sent back to the author for editing, at our discretion. This is our blog. If you've got a blog, then you're more than welcome to post there with trackbacks, and we can accommodate likewise if appropriate.
4) no baseless insults referencing our parentage or ability to perform suction-related activities
5) did I mention no senseless trolls?
6) please limit links to three or fewer - more than three links are possible but will be moderated
7) no unapproved advertising - comments smelling even remotely of unsolicited spam shall be either deleted or the offending links/information omitted, at our discretion.
A few simple requests from a few kindly folk eager to learn, share, and debate online. Violators will be deleted/edited/banned at the writers' and/or blog owner's descretion.
Thanks!
The writers at TMH's Bacon Bits
